考点、常用动词find表示"发现"的用法

find 动词 意为"找到；发现"，其过去式和过去分词都是found。

在初中阶段动词find表示"发现"，有以下几种接"宾语+ 宾语补足语"的用法，表示"发现某人 /某物……"

1. find + 宾语 + 名词

We all find him an honest boy.

我们都发现他是一个诚实的男孩。

Haven't you found it a wonderful film?

难道你没发现它是一部精彩的电影吗？

2. find + 宾语 + 形容词 / 副词

I find English very easy.

我发现英语很容易。

He found the story very interesting.

他发现这个故事很有趣。

I went to his house but I found him out.

我去他家但是发现他出去了。

3.find + 宾语+现在分词

I found them running on the playground when I passed by.

我经过时发现他们在操场跑步。

I found her crying in the room.

我发现她正在房间里哭泣。

4. find + 宾语+ 介词短语

I found his room in a mess.

我发现他的房间很乱。

They have found themselves in danger.

他们已经发现他们自己处于危险中。

5. find +it (形式宾语)+ 形容词+ 动词不定式 "发现做某事是……"

I find it easy to learn English well.

我发现学好英语很容易。

We find it a little difficult to solve the problem.

我们发现解决这个问题有点困难。

以上五种结构都可以转换成find + that 引导的宾语从句，that 可省略。

= I found that his room was in a mess.

We all find him an honest boy.

= We all find that he is an honest boy.

We find it a little difficult to solve the problem.

= We find that it is a little difficult to solve the problem.
