spend pay take cost 的区别
1.spend 指花时间或金钱干某事，以人为主语，后常带介词 on 或者in ，in可以省略。过去式是spent。
sb. +spend（s） +some money（time） +on sth.
sb. +spend（s）+some money (time） +in doing sth. 这里的in 可以省略。
比如：He spent an hour on his homework yesterday.他化一个小时做作业。

2.pay 主要指花钱干某事，以人为主语，经常和介词for 连用，过去式是paid

3.cost 一般是指花金钱、时间、劳力干某事，以物为主语，可带双宾. 过去式 cost
sth.+cost（s） +sb.+some money(time）

4.take 花费时间干某事，它一般以it做形式主语，过去式是took。
It takes sb. some time to do sth.
例如：It took me half an hour to swim in the swimming pool yesterday.
